SUNDAY WORSHIP
10:30 am - 11:30 am
Our regular worship service is held at 10:30 am each Sunday. We offer a traditional format, while also incorporating some contemporary music on occasion. Music accompaniment is generally by organ and often includes piano. A time of special music is included each Sunday.
Worship services follow the traditional church calendar (Advent, Lent, etc.). Thus, there are special services throughout the year, such as Ash Wednesday and Thanksgiving Eve. During the season of Advent there are enhanced worship services, and a candlelight Christmas Eve service.
We sometimes have services with a special emphasis. For example, individuals often share their experience after participating in activities or events such as the Appalachia Service Project and National Youth Conference (NYC). Other special services have included a service to honor the older adults in the congregation, which included many of the older hymns and, also, “Biker Sunday” where we invited those who ride motorcycles to join us for worship.
CHILDREN'S WORSHIP
Children's Church is offered during the regular worship service and is a separate service for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Nursery facilities also are available.
